There is a slit in the earth on the outskirts of Graven-Tosk.

Whispers and warnings spread from eager lips to curious ears, telling of a FOREST deep below the earth. Pulsing with green life, lit without sun, the secret to this sprawling wood lies within its lifeblood: somewhere, deep past crawling vines and scurrying creatures, is a pool, its crystal-clear waters holding the secret to life eternal. While many have ventured into the depths, few have returned. Only the foolhardy - and the death-seeking - would brave a place where the flowers have teeth and flesh shifts like putty. This forest is more than a simple wonder. It moves as one, a delicate ecosystem in a constant state of evolution, and whatever steps foot there, it claims for its own purposes. Should you escape being drawn into its arms forever, should you succeed in finding your aquatic prize, you will not return to the surface unchanged. You will not return with all of yourself.

This Forest Breathes is a bio-horror adventure designed for MÖRK BORG, suitable for anything from a one-shot to a small campaign or jumping-off point. Designed to lean into living plants, beautiful traps, and body horror, it features: 

• New death mechanics for a forest where you don't die, you just come back changed. A D12 table of stacking effects allows you to bounce back from death, at the cost of being slowly overtaken by your new home. 
• Nasty monsters such as the carnivorous Maw-Bloom, the plant-consumed Propagated, and... deer? 
• A deceptively lush and peaceful respite from the wasteland above, until it begins to warp around you.
